Residential Checks.  Residents who will be out of town overnight or for an extended period can call the Police Department and request officers make security checks of their residence.  Officers will physically walk around your home, checking windows and doors.

Bank Deposit Escorts.  Businesses can request a police officer escort them to the bank when making money deposits.  This service is available 24 hours a day.

Child Safety Seat Inspections.  The Police Department has nationally certified child seat technicians who can inspect child safety seats in your vehicle to ensure that they have been installed properly.  Call the Police Department to check the availability of certified technicians.

Residential and Business Security Inspections.  Upon request, officers will visit your home or business and assist you in identifying any potential security risks.  The officer will make suggestions on correcting any of those security risks.

Fingerprinting Services. Provided to the citizens of Beaufort.  Officers are on duty 24/7, Please call 911 for all EMERGENCIES!

Presentations.  Upon request, the department will provide an officer to talk at business associations, neighborhood associations, civic groups, church groups, school groups, etc.  The department has officers trained in topics such as community policing, crime prevention, drug awareness, personal safety, highway safety, and many more law enforcement topics.
